A reminder to everyone out there: I’m hosting a party here on New Year’s. Come have food, fun friends. We’ll be gaming and playing music and plenty of other good things too, so please feel free to come by. If you don’t know where I live now, e-mail me for directions and complete information. RSVPs are requested, but not required (I just want to know how many to expect). I look forward to seeing you!
So the end of the year comes around, and with it, the traditional holiday of celebrating the transition between years. Once again this year I will be hosting an annual New Year’s gaming party. Last year was lots of fun and very successful, so I’d like to invite all of you over again this year. Hopefully it goes without saying that the party starts on the 31st. Time wise, it’ll probably start around 7, but feel free to drop by any time. Please feel free to bring along guests, food, drink, games, etc. Please also e-mail me to RSVP (So I can get a rough headcount), ask directions, or have any questions answered. I look forward to seeing you all then!
EDIT: For those who may not remember; I’ve moved since last year’s party, and you might want to get directions to the new place….
A little bit ago, the BBC released broadcasts of a new set of Hitchhikker’s radio episodes, done in the same style as the original (Which I can dig up if you ask nicely), and with mostly the same cast. With the help of Audio Hijack Pro, I was able to snag the Real Audio streams and convert them into MP3s, which I now share with you, at lebor.net… . More information about these is available at www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/hitchhikers/…
Enjoy!
I have nothing against anime, and even enjoy some of it, but most of it is just odd, cliched, overdramaticized, underexplained, pointless, or just plain bad. All that is, of course, just my opinion, so please don’t bombard me with comments telling me I’m wrong. Anyhow, when I came across this: www.campchaos.com… , I recognized the work of someone who shares some of my opinions. It’s a spoof of Anime where Popeye is called in to save the earth… and it’s darned funny.
