Now here’s a meme I can support!

When you see this, go to your own blog and post a quote from Firefly

Some of the quotes I like best come from ‘Bushwhacked’:

Mal - Our cunning strategy of getting our asses plainly whooped must be starting to confound ‘em.

Wash -Oh, gawd! What could it beee? We’re dooomed! Who’s flyin’ this thing? Oh. Right. That’d be me. Back to work.

Alliance Officer - You fought with Captain Reynolds in the war.
Zoe - Fought with a lot of people in the war.
Officer - And your husband?
Zoe - Fight with him sometimes, too.

Boston Globe has posted their list of what they consider the top 50 sci-fi shows of all time. Not sure as I agree with all of it, but it’s pretty interesting. Nice to see a couple of rare gems land on the list too.

Etherlines: The Morning After, Oct. 21-23

This is an announcement for Etherlines: The Morning After, a LARP. It is running at Brandeis University on the weekend of October 21st-23rd. We’re filling fast, but I’m still taking applications. If you (or anyone you know who you think should play) would like to fill out an application for a character, or would like to hear more about the game, let me know. As a note, there’s really only so much I can say about the game, as it fals into the category of amnesia-featuring games, so the more I tell the less you can play. Suffice to say that it is a very popular game. Not everyone likes it, but it has run over 15 times, and people still seem to like it. *grin*

None of the Above (1) will be performing at the All Asia Cafe and Bar (2) on Sunday, October 2nd, starting at 4pm. We’ll have about an hour and a half worth of music, with a short intermission. We’ll be performing a selection of jazz, pop, and classical tunes. All Asia is mere steps from MIT, making it very T accessible, and parking can be found nearby. There is a $5 cover charge, which is a very low cost for 90 minutes or more of entertainment.

Look forward to seeing you there…
