Tired. So Tired. Good con. As usual with Intercon I feel like I lived two full weekends in the time of one. Which is good, but it means that 4 months from now I’ll only remember one weekends worth of what I did. But that’s ok. Everything went pretty smoothly all weekend long, which is exactly what I’d hoped for. I planned, replanned, over planned, and tried to attack any possible problem before I got to the con. The only thing that would have made it go better would have been if I could have cloned myself so I’d have at least one person there at all times. That’s mostly because I knw _exactly_ what we had, where it was, and how to process it. And it wasn’t just ops that was fantastic. Con site did so good a job this year that they almost blended into the background, which is kinda what yo want a con suite to do: be there, but not have any problems that make it apparent exactly how much work has to be done. The game I played were great, and the reviews of other games were mostly great. There weren’t many complaints, even about the lack of open slots on saturday night. Is there room for improvement? Clearely, on many levels, but as a whole, there were no train wrecks, no major stumbling blocks, and nothing that will have echoes to haunt anything. I went with a very full car, and came back with an almost full car. I now have a table full of flyers, binders, supplies, records, cups, shirts, surveys, raffle prizes, lost and found, leftover food, props, costumes, clothes, miscellaneous gadgets, and more to be sorted and processed in the next few weeks. *grin* I so love being a part of something that has such positive results for so many people.

At least I got the CDs…

Who would’ve expected a sold out show for a Canadian A Cappella group in the middle of Natick? But sold out it was. I’m a bit glad that no one took me up on the offer to see the show, I would have felt terrible. I hung around until about a half hour after show time, but despite there being 20 or so unclaimed tickets at the Will Call stand, they could not resell them. I bought a few CDs and came home. At least I’ve got Caddyshack queued up off TV. *grin*

Why yes, the interweb _is_ down!

Thanks to what may have been a hacked computer or computers in the library, we suffered internet outages and network flooding in excess of two hours, effectively killing everything. Impressively, the phones (The nice, new, VOIP phones) stayed up and operational, although our call queues did not. This meant that I received no phone calls, but that’s only because no one was dialing me directly. *shrug* It’s all up again now.

On a last note, I’m extending the invitation once again to those who will be around to go see Cadence and In The Moment tomorrow night in Natick.
