Call for GMs

Any Larp Writers out there who are reading this interested in helping out with a BYOG LARP session at Brandeis on Nov 1 and 2? We've got space, we've got people, now we need…. you!…. Alternatively, if you are unavailable the whole time, e-mail me if you'd like to play on that sunday (2nd).

Note to those riding the D line…

Quick note to those of you riding the D line: between 10 and midnight this week (until Thursday) the train itself only goes as far as Newton Highlands. Between NH and riverside they have a bus service running. This from someone who sat for 15 minutes waiting for a train to pull up that never did. 😛

UPDATE: "Actually the work will be 9pm-end of service, Sunday through Thursday UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE." Thanks.

Good Fun!

Party went really well. A bunch of people showed, although some people (notably fendrin) did not, and that was dissapointing, but it was their loss. msachs brought along his DDR equipment (by way of tpau and learnedax) , which was a big hit (and never really turned into Drunk Drunk Revolution, which was nice). He also brought some delicious cookies that I still need to get the reciipe for. Yes, I’ll share. Jducoeur and Msmemory graced us with a really tasty meady pop that went way to fast for my liking. *grin*. Natb and vcat gifted me a lamp and a Jon in tow. Teem appeared, and indulged his secret desire to dance to techno on a square grid. We chatted a bit about Intercon (http://www.intercon-d.org) and whatnot. Rigel was there, and had enough fun for two people. Encore will do that. Shprintzah and A+A made it here, assisted by my own dear asdr83. Good to see them, they are relatively new friends, but good ones. Paladin and jpicon chatted much and seemed to hit it off. Arawen and Whispercricket arrived a little later than planned, but thats ok, it’s a party, not a dinner engagement. Cstine was with them which was good, as she helped out so much with the moving and cleaning thing. Moonshade’s brother and a friend or two arrived, and a few others were there as well. All in all it was a full party, with much DDR, Super Smash Brothers, Encore, Apples to Apples, Sean Altman, tasty foods and drinks, and excellent conversation.

I have to remember that I like parties where I know people, and there is more than just music and alcohol….

Thanks to all that came and made my house that much warmer by their presence.

Just a reminder, the housewarming is tomorrow night, starting around 6. Those of you driving should park on the side streets or a block or two down at what used to be ames.
