This is your second (and likely last) official warning.
I will be hosting my annual New Year’s party again this year. There will be a large amount of board and card gaming, food, friends, music, movies perhaps, etc, etc. There will be celebrating the entrance of the new year. There will be celebrating having a few days off from work and school. There will be holiday cookies. There will be sitting around and standing around. There will be plenty of comfortable seating. It’s a casual party.
In years past the numbers have ranged from 6 to 36 (or so). I will be able to provide some alcohol, but that isn’t much the focus, so if there’s something you like, feel free to bring it to share! Also, communicate if you are coming, so I can get a rough head count. If I continue to have zero responses, I will announce the cancellation of this party. Others are welcome (especially the non-lj reading crowd who may be missing this), but please include that in the aforementioned communications. Crash space available for out-of-towners or any who need it, including a pull-out sofabed. Two cats for your entertainment or avoidment. They’ll be cordoned off to limited parts of the apartment for those who wish to minimize allergies or just hate cats (no need to tell us if you fall into that category).

Oh, and for those of you who remember that party announcement I posted a few days ago….

Id like to remind potential partygoers that we have pets. Two wonderful cats. They will be segregated for the length of the party, and we’ll be cleaning/vacuuming, etc. ahead of time, and they are generally not super-allergy inducing, but for those of you prone, please premedicate or otherwise take precautions (yes Oberon, we’ll have your caffeine supply.) If this prevents you from coming at all, we’ll miss you.

Oh, and we do have crash space for those who can’t/shouldn’t/don’t want to travel afterwards for whatever reason.
