- Well, it only took me 4 months to break my own wish to post more frequently. Let’s see if I can pick myself up and get back on.
- Got to see a small fire on campus Monday. Looks like someone flicked a still-lit cigarette into the mulch in the landscaping, and oddly enough, mulch burns. Who knew? A fire truck was on its way up the road when I passed, but it looked like the facilities guy was taking care of it pretty effectively with a gallon jug of water.
- If I were a fighter pilot and saw this, I think video game reflexes would kick in and I would definitely shoot first, ask questions later.
- I think game show hosts might secretly be Jedi. Think about it. Alex Trebec turns around and the screen changes without any visible motions. Other game show hosts too, like Richard Dawson from Family Feud. Think about the use of Jedi mind powers in games like Press Your Luck or $64000 Pyramid…. Can’t you see Ben Stein as some sort of Jedi? And don’t get me started on Bob Barker, tell me he isn’t some sort of Sith Lord. Oh, oh, except for Pat Sajak. If he were a Jedi, he wouldn’t need Vanna White to turn the blocks for him. I wonder what this says about Marc Summers.

*gulp* I bought a car this weekend. It’s not often a person gets to put themselves into that much debt in an afternoon.
For the curious, it’s a 2005 Toyota Matrix, in an off-black color. I’ll pick it up in a few days after they’re done putting in the iPod kit I wrangled out of them.
